Danny and Laura Hawkins both grew up near Burlington, Kansas, where their love for the outdoors and each other first took root. High school sweethearts turned lifelong partners, they’ve built their family and their dream on hard work, faith, and a shared passion for Kansas whitetails. What began as a personal love of hunting and taxidermy became a lifelong calling. Danny spent more than 20 years mastering the art of taxidermy while Laura worked alongside him, caring for injured and orphaned wildlife through the Kansas Fish and Game Rehabilitation program. Together, they taught their five children to respect the land, hunt ethically, and cherish the outdoors. In 2015, their dream expanded into reality with Heaven Sent Whitetails. Later growing to include OZsome Big Game Hunts, a family-built ranch where people can experience the thrill of Kansas whitetail in a safe, faith-filled, and welcoming environment. Today, the Hawkins family continues to share their land with People from across the country and around the world. They see each hunt not just as a pursuit, but as a chance to create lifelong memories and lasting friendships, all while honoring God’s creation and the values that built their family.
